Abstract
The research aims to develop and increase the Egyptian exports of the grape crop to the world markets, by studying the following objectives: Identifying the competitive potentials within the most important import markets for this crop, and showing the competitive position of the Egyptian grape crop in the global market. The most important findings of the research were that Egypt ranked first among the most important grape-exporting countries in the English market during the period (2006-2012) and (2013-2019), with a percentage of 7.6% and 8.2% of the English market, respectively. While the percentage of its acquisition of the Dutch market was weak, as it represented about 3.8% and 5.7 during the first and second periods. As for the Italian market, Egypt came in fourth and third place during the first and second periods, respectively, with a rate of about 13.4% and 14.7%, respectively. Conclusively, the study recommends estimating statistical methods such as the stability coefficient of the export indicators of the Egyptian grape crop, estimating the apparent comparative advantage of the exports of the most important grape exporting countries, estimating the market share, estimating the market penetration rate, and estimating the price competitive position index for the grape crop.
